You should not need a "Wildblue Setup Disc", since I don't believe one has ever existed. Are you trying to hook up using a wireless connection? If so, then you will have to ensure that the new computer has its wireless system activated. If you are trying to connect the new computer using the wired Ethernet connection, then you need to have the Ethernet cable connected to either your router or if you have no router, then directly to your Exede or Wildblue modem.

I believe that years ago there was some WildBlue setup prgram that generally messed up your Windows network sharing software but that was in the days of Windows 98. You don't need anything like that these days.

You should follow what Steve says. You should just be able to plug in an ethernet cable ( straight through, patch type) between the WildBlue modem and your pc and windows should recognise the connection.

I think Steve gave you the right advice. You should be able to connect just fine by plugging your ethernet directly in or using your wifi password if you have a router. Installation disks haven't been a standard for quite a while.

When I went to new computer I connected my ethernet cable to modem and pc. But couldn't get online so went to Control panel on computer and internet connection. Where had lan setting I put check mark in box where it said automatically detect settings. Then clicked okay. Then could get online.
