Question about upgrading service

I am a new Exede customer.   I signed up for the Evolution 20 plan that gets the Freedom plan for 6 months as a promotion.  I was told when I signed up that I could switch to the Freedom plan when my promotion period was about up.  After reading some things on here I'm concerned that might not really be the case.  I signed up for Evolution 20 to save the $30 / month for 6 months, but if I then can't upgrade to the Freedom plan permanently, it's not worth it.  The reps I've seen post on here seem very helpful, so I was wondering if I could get an answer from one of them.

Just to let you know, the service has been great so far.  We have had 3 Mb DSL for many years.  It was ok early on, but over the years has gotten worse and worse to the point where just normal web browsing is painful from about 6pm until about midnight.  Want to stream netflix, amazon video, or hulu?  Forget it!  Even on lowest quality, it was constantly having to stop and buffer.  Now we can even have multiple shows going at once if we want.  Having read up on satellite service and what to expect I was a little concerned about connecting to my work VPN, but that has been working fine.  Thanks, Exede!

When I first signed up for Excede, Freedom was unavailable so I choose the 25gb plan. When Freedom did become available in my area, I upgraded via my online dashboard account. The transition was seamless and I no longer have to concern myself with activity on the internet. Within my household, I am online all day, Netflix is streaming on two screens every night, and the kid's laptop's, Kindles and Xbox are connected all afternoon and weekend's. The Freedom Plan has worked out well for us and my wallet: it is $20 less than my original plan.
