Why do you need one?  Do you have a bad one?  That would require a call to customer service and you would swap out the bad one.

Honestly, there used to be all sorts of complains about slow wifi speeds when using the Exede wifi modem.

You can get a nice Netgear modem on Amazon for around $40.  Exede charges $5 extra a month for their wifi modem, so if you buy one, it has paid for itself in just 8 months.

This is the one I am using.  You can get it even cheaper if you shop around on other sites like eBay.

Larry,

You can get a wifi modem if you move to a plan that requires it.  Most plans right now do require it.

Log onto my.exede.net, and look at the plans available for your area.
