problems with internet 3 blinking blue lights

bottom 3 lights on modem blinking together ...speed acts like congested even when not in overage...during unmetered hours its like im in data restriction....would a broadband tower affect our satellite?

Hi Angela,

Broadband towers shouldn't impact your service. If you're on Liberty pass your speeds do slow between 1-5mbps during the day. If you're referring to the Late Night Free Zone, there could have been late night maintenance that caused slow speeds or just a lot of traffic (summer is a VERY popular and busy time for this). The lights are, from top to bottom on the modem, Power - should be steady unless modem has a problem, receive - flickers intermittently, mostly on, Send -flash when internet is in use by someone on your LAN (in your house), LAN (local Network, router or connected device) should be on with flicker now and then unless your router or the Ethernet card in your computer has a problem.

Hopefully that will help you and tech support isolate the issue.
