My problem is with billing not shown to the customer. I signed up for phone service and was told the first 6 months I would get a $10. a month discount but was billed the full price. I sent an email to customer service and was told it would be applied to my next months billing. How do I know? I cant see my billing untill after you guys charge me.

Go to my.exede.net and you can look at your account on there and it should show your bill.

This is something I have never seen before exede. They debit my account on the 8th  and on the 9th I received my bill and No there is not anywhere to look at your bill prior to receiving  a email the day after they debit your account. Last month was the last month this will happen. They without my knowledge took their property tax out another $10.00. Which is also a first. I dropped the debit card and had it replaced with a new one with a new number. They have a one time payment method that on the 9'th after I have reviewed my bill i'll use to pay my bill. If this is not satisfactory with them I will go back to Hughesnet as bad as I hated them. What happens if they make a mistake, it could cost me a lot in insufficient fees because paying bills is the only thing I used this debit card for. I don't really think they are going to offer to pay the overdraft fees. I lost a lot of faith in exede. My speeds are way down my usage way high.

I just ran into the same thing. My dashboard in the amount owed box said I had a 1.79 credit. I kept waiting for a new amount so I could pay the bill. Well the new bill came out, the same day they charged my account. I asked who gave them permission to tap into that account. I was told I gave them permission when I signed the original paperwork when I signed up. In the original call, the guy told me they just needed a card on file, that I could chose my own payment method each month. Well that is only true if you pay before the new bill comes out. If you wait for the bill, they will tap your card on file. I have never seen a company that charged your account the same day the bill comes out! The new billing should be released at least a week before it is due. This gives the customer time to decide where the money is to come from.

I also ran a internet speed test to see my download speeds. I kid you not, it said I was downloading at just under 2 mb a second. and uploading at 1 mp per second. That is the lowest speeds I have ever recorded in all the years I have been on the internet. I tried to download a game one night after midnight. the download was measured in KB, not MB. The download would of taken 127 hours according to Uplay. That is not worth the 62.00 dollars a month I pay these people for access.

You have 2 good points Thomas. The first has a cure, the second??  Nothing we can do about it, I have 6 gigs left and last night couldn't even watch youtube for it buffering. & it doesn't take much to watch a small vid. on youtube, My old dial up would do that.

Ronald, please send me an email at exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information. I will double check and confirm the discounts have been applied. At this time we do not have the ability to show you the statement prior to your bill date, I apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Your bill should not vary unless you have charges for international calls or the once yearly property tax.
