Before we upgraded to the unlimited internet package, my home router was perfectly set up for port forwarding. Now with the new Viasat modem it all went to hell. I can not seem to figure out how to chain the port forward to my home router.

And which modem prior to the switch? If the Surfbeam 2, you may want to try enabling bridge mode on the WiFi Gateway to eliminate some of the complexity associated with port forwarding and double NAT if still using your own router.

Your post doesn’t make sense. Do you want to setup port forwarding on the gateway or do you want to use your own router?
