I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AT ALL, NOT ONLY IS THIS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. TO HAVE TO PAY THIS AND STILL HAVE TO USE MY PHONE FOR A HOTSPOT BECAUSE THE QUALITY IS THE SLOWEST AND WORST MAKES MY STOMACH HURT, I FEEL YOU ARE A RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.
Nette, perhaps if you told us exactly what is wrong with your Viasat service, we could help you correct the issue.
Have you used all of your Priority data for the month and, thus are experiencing slow speeds?
Do you have an Unlimited plan and, are attempting to stream at a higher resolution that the plan allows?
How many devices are connected to your Viasat service? The total speed is divided between all devices actively using the internet at any given time in your home. So say you have 25 Mbs service but have 5 devices online at the same time - the most any one device could get is 5 Mbps.
I'm sorry to hear you've having a bad experience with Viasat. There are several paths you can take to resolve your issues. Forum members, such as Bev above, are very knowledgeable, and can help you work through hardware issues, especially third-party. Champions, again like Bev, have a history of being especially helpful!
You can call Customer Care at 855-463-9333. They can troubleshoot live with you, I recommend this path if your speed issues are intermittent.
Lastly, email us at ViasatListens@viasat.com. My team (Brad, Diana and I) are at the corporate headquarters, and have access to tools and people that Care doesn't. If there's a backoffice issue that can't be corrected by calling Care, we might be able to solve it.
