Unexpected charges

I was promised 5 extra gb per month for 6 months on 2/23 and have now been charged (5) 9.99 fee for extra gb's and was charged a $95 service fee that i was told I would not be for poor connection. I called today and they refunded the 9.99 fees (7-14days!!!!) but are only willing to credit half of the service fee!!! I said its unacceptable and if the full amount is not refunded I will term service today. They are waiting now for a yay or nay which could take 72hrs. Total BS!! and the fact their willing to lose a customer of over 2 years over there mistake and $47.50!!!

Thomas, send an email to the forum moderators at exedelistens@viasat.com explaining your problem. You will get much better service than from those phone calls. Include your account number and/or phone number in your email, and reference this thread.

I had a similar problem. I had no internet for 3-4 weeks due to a loose connection outside. They send a worker out to check it. That's how I found out. Anyway, I was promised I'd get a FREE MONTH. I called back twice because I was charged anyway. But at first, I called to tell them my internet wasn't working. They told me their was an outage in my area for a week.  The last time I called they said they'd only charge me for half of a month next month. We will see. I just got this in January and already want to find something new. Also, it would be so nice if we could pay for a package with unlimited data. Hoping they have that option in the future everywhere, even for phones, ect.

Of course I sent an email at 12:11pm yesterday with a confirmation from exede that I would receive a follow up contact within 24 hrs, which of course has not happened!!!!!!

Well the fact I was told also by exedes customer service rep I would here back from them as well by now and havent heard anything from them either, it seems like its all in the same. Dont tell me youll get back with me by a certain time if you cant.

Thomas, I checked your account and it looks like the refund has already been processed by my colleague Lindsey. We must've forgotten to email you letting you know, I apologize. As of earlier today the funds have been released to your bank and should be in your account within 3-5 business days.

Hi, Thomas, I've also checked your account and I've left you an email and a voicemail yesterday concerning your refund. I personally processed the refund back to your account as of 4/1. You should receive that refund within 3 to 5 business days.
