What are the specs of the Bronze plan? The Silver plan isn't anything great for the price, I just curious of the differences between Silver and Bronze plans. I mean, Bronze isn't even offered in my area.

Probably why bronze wasn’t offered in my area. I wonder if the packages were mixed in any areas? I’d change to bronze today if I could or upgrade to gold. Silver is kind of the worst of both. The cost of gold elsewhere without the 720p.

I have the silver plan and for the money it's terrible.  Most likely going to switch to a lower plan.  Right after you hit the 150GB cap you are throttled down to 200KB,  completely unusable.  Right after the month resets, I'm only able to get 8-9 MB down, no where the advertised 24 MB down.  I live in the country, so I don't have too many options. If I did, I would have dropped Excede a long time ago!

The Silver Unlimited shouldn't do that.  You need to contact Exede and get that fixed.
Sounds like they still have you on the normal Freedom plan with a hard throttle after you use 150gigs.

Im a 10 year IT tech and i am good friends with the owner and head tech of exede now viasat's local install contractor. I am sorry but excede has been caught in several lies and most of their customer service is not in office but home workers with bull**** info. The new modems for the unlimmited are triangular not rectangle, we are not even on the new viasat system yet, unlimmited are still on the single beam old sat sytem with the data pack users. This was confirmed by a call from corperate. The viasat uplink switch will not flip till early january after that you will recieve the new modem. Untill then expect crap service and crap speeds all backed up by customer service saying it is your data useage being slowed durring congestion, it is not, it is the running of unlimmited on a satcom that cant handle it. Once we get viacom you will see 100mbps speeds but plans will only go up to 50mbps. If this all works exede viacom will surpass huesnet, but not sure why they are not telling us the truth or why they sell plans their network can not support durring peak times. Now you know the truth. By the way my family also owns BaysET wireless internet service in pacific missouri, so yes i know all the engineering and tech stats.

I use the Bronze plan and am happy with it so far. The speeds have been as advertised. In my opinion it is adequate for watching video clips or sitcoms, news shows or other non- action programing. Movies and sports, not so much. There are only two of us in the household so the demand for bandwidth is never that high. I started with Wildblue 10+ years ago so it is refreshing to finally have an unlimited plan available.

i have the unlimited gold plan. it sucks. most of the time my speeds are in the range of less than 5 mbps. the max i have got randomly is 18 mbps when i am supposed to get 30mbps.  before i changed the plan, i used to get 25mbps and the speeds used to range from 25-30mbps. every time i call tech support, they tell me that there is no problems and i am getting what i should be getting and they don't guarantee speed. so i am paying for 30 Mbps speed and 90% of time i get less than 5 mbps and thats normal?? they refuse to transfer me to advanced support. everytime i call they ask me to do basic troubleshooting and then disconnects the call. I called three times today and they are refusing to troubleshoot with advanced technical support and also refusing to transfer to a supervisor. looks like those guys don't want to fix the issue.how do i get hold of someone in corporate to look into this. their support is horrible...

i was being transferred just a second ago to tier 3 tech and it just hung up on me again, happened the same 2 days ago. I got the 10mbs speed and was told i'd be lucky to get 5mbs most of the time. I also told them i want them to return my call if i get disconnected. Well i am waiting for the return call, after :"Shamay". promised she would call me back if i get disconnected during the transfer. This is sad service. I wish it worked as promised.

We had great speed during the first week of connection, then the next three weeks the download speed has dropped to 0.5mbs, After speaking to agents for 5 days in a row getting various run arounds and excuses the speed has not improved. I was even told by one tech agent that i would be lucky to see about 5-6mbs when the issue is fixed for customers with bronze and silver plans. He told me the customer with the top bandwidth plan have not had this issue. No issue are detected in my home, they say it is a satellite streaming issue being worked on in my region and do not have a time when it will be repaired.

This is certainly a crooked company. I have never gotten what I pay for , but I don't have any other choice. It's a real crime to have to pay the prices we do!
