Overdrive - a Windows app

There is a Windows app that works with some public libraries to loan audio books, called Overdrive.

Until roughly 6 weeks ago the app worked flawlessly
Then began to stop midway thru a down load, after multiple retries it would eventually complete the download.

For a few weeks now it is impossible to download any books.
Not related to network congestion or local hardware problems.

Can go to Starbucks and pull down the books
Went to a neighbors house on Viasat and can't get to work there.

Symptoms imply something has changed on Viasat's end.
Anyone else use Overdrive to get audio books?

Have you tried downloading running through a VPN? That will bypass Viasat's compression technology. Curious if it would work then?

Don't know if you were around at the inception of Exede. Weather.gov wouldnt work for instance.

Just scampered over to Montana Library to Go (Overdrive) and, using ViaSat browser, downloaded Fredrick Forsyth's book, The Fox...no problems and it's on my Kindle right now. Everything seemed totally normal.
