How did I use so much data?

HOW THE HELL CAN I HAVE USED 10 GB OF DATA WHEN I HAVE HAD THE SYSTEM FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS SINCE INITIAL HOOK UP. THIS REALLY IRRITATES ME TO NO END. HAVE I BEEN MISLED INTO SIGNING UP ?

Very easily if you aren't use to metered data, don't have your system locked down to not use data in the background and/or you watched streaming video. Somewhere on here there is a how to on conserving data.

ALL I DID WAS SIGN UP. NO MOVIES NOTHING EXTRA THAT I KNOW OF.  I AM BAFFLED.  I'm NOT SURE I KNOW HOW TO LOCK DOWN ANYTHING. ANY SUGGESTION WILL BE WELCOMED.

If your computer/devices have not had internet access for a even a few weeks, all of a sudden, they have internet access, you may have a huge amount of updates to do, all of a sudden.  You can easily go thru a ton of data just simply by your systems getting themselves up to date, and doing nothing else.

Good news is your data should have already reset. The first billing cycle and data reset are within 3 days of your activation. There are some really good articles on Exede.com knowledge base about how to save data by adjusting your settings.
