Within one hour a 2.1 gig usage within the Marketplace according to Excedes tool.

Marketplaces
App Stores, eReadersApp Stores: GooglePlay, iTunes, Windows Store
eReaders: Kindle, Nook.
Supposedly from 4 to 5 PM on the 20th. My first day on renewal of plan.

I don't use any of this stuff.

Dave,

Exede can only infer where the data went. Web pages are built-up of many modules and its likely that the above named items had some content in the web pages you did visit.

In order to get a detailed look at all of the 'connections' in the pages you visit I suggest installing the free version of Glasswire: www.glasswire.com

I think you will be surprised as to the number of 'hosts' that are visited as part of viewing a web page.

Hi Dave, a lot of that can be things on your phone or tablet. A lot of apps are automatically set to do an auto-update and can update in the background. A lot of times the updates are not aesthetically different, most times you may not even know an update took place. Aps update routinely and if you're set to have that automatically, this is something that will probably hit you every so often unless that is toggled off.

Well no phone or tablet was on, at least as to using Wifi. Don't really use them for that. I did recently have to switch to windows 10, but do have it set to metered downloads. I was burned when I first set up with their constant downloads and thought I was prepared for it once my 10 gig plan reset, but up pops 2.1 gig. I use the free time zone when I see there are downloads, but there appears to be no way to totally stop them. Would love to regulate them to the 12 AM to 5 AM time, but don't see how.
