It would be nice if Exede would notify customers when a scheduled maintenance is in the area. I was in the middle of working on-line, when poof, there went my internet. I called to only find out its now down til 5 am which is conveniently when the free zone ends. Thanks to this company's piss poor communication skills, I now have to redo everything I was working on and resubmit it.

MeganW, Alex did send out a message yesterday afternoon that there would be interruptions in service last night. See his post here

Mi MeganW.  I apologize if you were not aware of the interruption last evening.  As Steve answered, it was posted yesterday afternoon.  Thank you for your suggestion and I will escalate it to the proper department.

Unfortunately, GetSatisfaction isn't particularly well suited to announcements, locating them can be difficult for many and are often overlooked.

Perhaps  ensuring that they are always tagged as announcements might help and users could establish a shortcut to:[settings][type]=update

The Announcements tab serves that purpose also but can be overlooked perhaps it can be made the default?
