Not getting the service you though you were getting!

Horrible Service! I don't recommend this interenet provider!  I was misled into thinking i'd get good service at a cheaper rate.  I was paying $70.00 a month for AT&T Uverse.  DirecTV in conjuntion with Exede told me i'd get it for $29.99.  My monthly bill from Exede is about $62.00  I also have no speed after about 10 days.  If i want more I have to buy! LOL  Uverse I never had to worry.  Beware!

Agreed..Horrible Service!!  Unfortunetly where I live Att doesn't offer Uverse, so i'm stuck with satellite service or dial-up.  Thinking of changing to Hughes Net, but I doubt they are any better.  My service has been slow for a couple of months, they say it's normal for my package, so if I want higher speeds I have to spend $80 a month.

Let me clarify that better the sat with the 150-175Gb/s throughput is jupiter 2/ echostar XIX which is HughesNets' new sat being launched late 2016. That being said Viasat-1 has that capacity now and Viasat-2 will have in the 250-275Gb/s range once complete and is actually launching sooner then HughesNets.

higher speeds cost you more money? I dont understand....exede gives you 12 down no matter what plan you have

So if you want to leave and go to them there's hope that there service will improve too with their new sat. but I'm staying here for now (till I can run my cable line to the house)

Sorry to hear!  I just hate that I was told one thing and got the opposite of what i was told.  Should have known it was to good to be true.  Plus i'm stuck with a 2 year contract!
