No voice service

my internet service is working, however my voice service only gives the message "internet cable is not connected". I have plugged 2 different phones into the modem and rebooted the modem 5 times and still have no voice service.

Jeff,

Be sure all the cables are connected correctly.

If you have another way to make phone calls, call Customer Care (855-463-9333) to troubleshoot.  If not, try chatting with a live agent. https://viasat.secure.force.com/kb/PublicKBContactUs

In general, if it's a hardware issue, a new ATA (the Voice box) will need to be sent out, (assuming you have the modem without wifi) or a service call to replace the modem (wifi versions).  Software issues can be troubleshooted and corrected, though they may have to be escalated.
