No internet connection

Been a customer for nearly three years and in the past 3 months I've had multiple issues with no internet connection. This can last for hours. No clouds, no bad weather, no internet. I have satellite internet because i live in the country, and cell service is spotty at best. Need internet! At my wit's end!!!

Nicole, I'm sorry you are having issues with your connection. That can have many causes ranging form weather at you home or gateway, which is usually not near your home, to system maintenance, to dish alignment.

You can call Customer care at 855-463-9333 while you are disconnected to see if they can see the reason or, send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information as well as a brief description of your problem and, they can take a look and see if they can see what might be causing the problem.

Of course, infrequent disconnects (1-4 hours per month over 1-2 times) are normal with weather an maintenance. Beyond that there may be a problem that can be fixed.

Does this happen at any specific times? Day or night?

We have customers call from time to time saying they have no internet connection. You need to be more specific. Are all the lights on the modem? Can you surf from another device?
If you are using a Windows 10 powered computer then please look up my post on their recent update which turns off the wifi on laptops. I explain exactly how to fix it. In this case it's not Exede it's Microsoft.

Customer care is impossible! I called it and it sent me directly to payment. No other options, nothing.

Is your payment up to date? If not that might be why. Normally it gives you a chance to ask for technical support.
