Satellite internet is not a good choice for anyone who has access to any ground based internet services. It is the only choice many of us have as we live in areas that are less populated, and not someplace that those cable providers are interested in running cable to us.

I agree, I gave up ATT to use bundled Suddenlink...  when I hated the lies complete OVERCHARGES for months on end, never getting fixed my former  ATT no longer had a way to get any service in my rural location.  I had NO option but Exede/Wild Blue.  Now I have TWO big ass ugly dishes clearly visible on my carport roof.  My Exede voicemail went out months ago, won't record, and I must use a phone message feature, then when wind blows it seems the TV reception goes out, internet goes out, phone going out is scary, no way to reach anyone.

AND I paid $300 one time to 'own' the box that allowed voice, it has just been one year and price popped up instantly...very difficult to reach them, going to neighbors not an option..so I am less than thrilled with this.

Even our Verizon gets only 2 bars on my new cell from LG...so poor internet and voice all the way around, and if I go to sell my house people will struggle to get any service if ATT doesn't  add service back to our area.
