Why are you telling me I haven't activated my new modem yet?
How do you think I'm talking to you now????
The technician was here 3 weeks ago and hooked it up and I've been using it ever since. The old modem has been packed up in the box since then too. I just haven't been able to get it to town to the UPS office. I live 70 miles from town. I'll try to get it in today or Monday.

ha! there telling me i hooked up my new modem and want my old one back or thier charging me 150!!!!! im on my old modem im sending the new one back as i like the freedom plan!!! but they say they can see i hooked my new modem up!! lamo

Earl,  Thank you for contacting us about your concerns with the modem.  Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com. Please include the new modem MAC address. You can find it on the bottom of the modem. That will allow us to confirm everything. We need to make sure the correct one is in your account. Thank you so much for your patience and I am sorry for the confusion.

Kathy,  There may be incorrect information on your account.  Please send  your account and contact information in an email to exedelistens@viasat.com so we can clear this issue up for you. We certainly don't want to charge you for a modem you don't have!  If we didn't provision the old modem back on your account, it will not show up as the one being used.

Same happened to me, EXcept after a phone call & an email asking if I needed help activating the new modem I checked the tracking # & EXcede had ALREADY received my old modem back the day before!! LOL
