Trouble with Exede Voice

New exede wifi modem with voice. When I pick up my telephone, a recorded voice says "internet cable is not connected".

I have responde to the above message several times now with less that crap results.First, my name is not 857gamer. Second, the one response that actually attempted to help did not solve anything. Since then, I have sent several messages and received no response.

PLEASE help me. I have been without a home phone for over a week.
