As we migrate exede.net and wildblue.net email accounts to the new platform, we know some will have questions and maybe experience a glitch or two. You can find short videos about some of the setup steps on our YouTube Help Center page. Also, our Exede Help Center has an email section with lots of articles. If you don't see what you need, let us know and we'll help you out.

Log into the webmail page and select the MAIL tab at the top and the SPAM Settings tab at the left bottom.  Bump up the filtering a notch.

It is just that Google does a much better job of spam detection than the wimpy Zimbra spam filtering does.

Or perhaps the default SPAM setting in Google is more aggressive than the default SPAM setting in Zimbra. Until one adjusts the SPAM setting under Zimbra, it is hard to say. One thing for sure, a SPAM filter will remove some valid emails. It's just a trade off of how many good emails fall by the wayside as compared to being inundated with trash mail.

Hi Alex,

If I create a new account, now that the migration is under way, will it be on the new platform? I've been waiting until creating my email account after I signed up for service earlier in August.

Thanks,
Joshua

Hello Joshua, once you're migrated over to the new platform you can create new email addresses that will be on the Zimbra platform

Thanks Brad, I'm assuming I'll get some sort of notification about this or is there a date I should wait until before creating a new email account?

If you log into go.wildblue.net and see that you've been moved to Zimbra already, the coast is clear for you to create a new email.
