Hello my name is Wayne White I don't know that this information will help everyone but I know it has helped me. For over 4 to 6 months I have been getting slow Internet. Service man at Exceed has been out to look at why I was getting slow Internet service . They were saying this and that telling me that I was within my Data used. Which I did not understand when I had the freedom plan and had their router that they charge me for to get that so called 25 Mbps speed which I was getting at first. Then about six months within the time limit of being with them it's starting to slow down a problem that seemed to me what I have read with all other users sharing their experience. I started to do a little research on all the problems that modems and routers have,led me to the conclusion that the router may be getting too hot. I do have my router in a well ventilated area, but I did see that it was pretty warm. So I thought to myself maybe the router is getting too ( hot ) causing it to not give us the fast speed that it needs to give us ( working too hard ). So I went to Walmart and bought a nine dollar small little fan to put right beside it and turned it on. Let me tell you today I have gotten the fastest speed I've ever had with them at the top speed of 39+ Mbps. I have been looking at this for a while for almost 3 weeks my speed has been anywhere between 15 to 39 Mbps on the speed test with my upload speed is at anywhere between 4.78 to 5.78 Mbps. Like I said before this may not help everyone but it did help me. I do believe that exceed needs to put a fan inside their ( Router ) it's getting too hot !!!!
