How do I add a photo to my profile for posts?

How do one get one's picture on a post.

I sure hate it that all of you are missing such a view.

Are you referring to your profile picture? If so, you click on your name which takes you to your "profile". Then once on this screen, you'll click your name again which will redirect you to your "dashboard". To the left of the screen there will be a button under your picture that says "edit profile". Click that and upload your pic and you're done!
