My internet drops off several times a day.

My internet drops off several times a day. I have to reset the router and the modem to get reconnected. I need a reliable connection to run my business. Please advise.

Does the same thing happen when your modem is directly connected to the computer, bypassing your router entirely?

I had the same problem this fall. I called customer service and they sent a tech out to replace my modem. Hasn't happened since.

Hello Harold, I’m sorry to hear of the troubles you’re experiencing with your modem. You should not have reset your modem on a daily just to gain connection. Please send us your account and contact info to exedelistens@viasat.com as soon as possible, we may need to set up a service call to get this resolved.

Wait,,, what!!??!!! Mine has been doing the same thing for months, and I do not use a router. I have to reset several times a day. I have been a customer since 2007. I have called a few times about this problem. Last time, I told the tech I thought I needed a new modem. He told me I really did not want to do that/ He said I would have to pay over $200 for the mpdem. I told him that was crazy if I had to pay for faulty equipment, still have this problem.
