My internet drops off several times a day. I have to reset the router and the modem to get reconnected. I need a reliable connection to run my business. Please advise.

Wait,,, what!!??!!! Mine has been doing the same thing for months, and I do not use a router. I have to reset several times a day. I have been a customer since 2007. I have called a few times about this problem. Last time, I told the tech I thought I needed a new modem. He told me I really did not want to do that/ He said I would have to pay over $200 for the mpdem. I told him that was crazy if I had to pay for faulty equipment, still have this problem.
