If you terminate your service at the end of your original contract, or anytime after that, you are still required to return your modem and the tria, the thingy out there on your dish, or else you will be charged for them. If you end your contract, ViaSat will send you a box to return the equipment (not the actual dish) with prepaid shipping.

Hello Eli,

If you chose to disconnect your services we ask that you return the Exede modem and power cord from inside your house, and the TRIA off the dish assembly outside. We will not ask for the dish or the mounting brackets. Exede will send you a special box and packing material that will contain these items, along with detailed instructions about how to pack it up and send it back. All this information and more will be provided to you at the time of disconnection through legal disclosures.
