Msg for Exede Employees who use Facebook!

Exede Beau and other Exede Employees who use Facebook Please Check your Facebook Messages Regularly! I have the Unlimited plan and at night time starting at around 6:00pm my download speed goes down to like 1.60 MBPS Even now at 9:50 am my download speeds use to be upwards to around 23-25 mbps but now there a little over 12 MBPS! and I was Thinking maybe moving to another gateway aka different beam would help me! I dont know?

You can send them an email also to exedelistens@viasat.com with your information. As far as changing beams that is not possible unless you were on the edge where 2 over lap.  It's more likely that the issues is on the back side and they can contact one of the engineers and have them get you fixed.

I understand that it is congested at night but it shouldn't be slowed down to over 1.5 mbps download speed! When I first got exede in December My speeds was really fast! Up to 25 MBPS Early in the morning and even early in the afternoon and then in the evening my speeds would be up to around 11 MBPS when alot of people was on! so I dont know if they have ALOT more subscribers thats slowing it down or what!

I cant go in to detail but yes part of it is your beam is getting more and more people on it and part of it is the way things connect on the back side.  If you don't hear back from them on FB I would just shoot them an email and have them give you a call.  I have actually been working with Beau trying to get mine fixed but he's been busy, which is fine I'm in no rush its working so that's all I care about :) and I know he hasn't forgot :)

Ok Lindsey the e-mail is sent! Thanks Knight rider! Mine is working too! I mean Im just trying to get the best speeds possible for the Money Im paying! Watching youtube vids I use to could skip ahead like 10 mins ahead and BOOM it would go in secs but now it has to load! But I just sent a e-mail to Lindsey so Im sure she will do what she can! Thanks for responding Knight Rider!

Exede Lindsey, Changing the eternet cable helped it increased the speed by about 4 mbps! Thanks

I have to say that is very strange that changing the cable worked. That like 90% of the time never the issue but glad it worked for you. I was just talking to ExedeNeil on the wild blue forum and the setting in the back side for me right now look good so power cycling my modem the other day must have fixed it after all. That or Beau got my fixed and just hasn't told me yet lol either way speeds are great for me tonight!!!

well my speeds arent much better now thats it's peak hours but I Just checked and it's a 4.2 download speed better then what it was
