Moving process problem

I live on a small disability check. I called because I had to move the other day. They tell me that I have to *return* all the equipment I currently have, so they can have someone come out to the new house and put up new(er) equipment...this means I have to wait untold days/weeks until I get service. Along with that, one *MUST* do a completely new two-year contract.

If it weren't for my being in the middle of the woods, I'd drop this junk like a hot potato. It's gotten slower than molasses in January to the point it's not too much better than dialup! I'm just not getting the service for the amount of money they're wanting anymore.

our internet is very slow too and the entire months usage is gone in two weeks, they send us letters asking if we would like to upgrade? No thank you, I read what someone had written about their upgrade, there were so many hidden fees in the "upgrade" that the person said he was never told about.

Then I have my electronics that I can NOT get e mail on with Wildblue even though they tell me that I should be able to, they tell me to call Verizon and Apple ~ ahhh ~~ no!!! the I pad did work in the past, have had trouble since your upgrade, then when I do get the I pad e mail to work, It only works for a few days then sends me a message that I have the wrong e mail and password!! Really? We have one e mail and one password. and if it works here and there why does it not always work, and NO I don't mess with he settings, why would I when it is working part of the time, why would the settings change. Sick of wildblue!!

Fritz - Your Exede Internet should not be that slow.  With your new install, you should get a correctly aligned/configured system that will give you decent speeds.  Don't know what was going on with your old system, but it should not have been that slow.

I've had trouble with email on my iPhone ONCE after the change form Google. All I had to do was delete the old account and create a new one - changing the setting made it work intermittently but, deleting and creating a new setup for mail on my phone cure that for good.

There are no hidden fees when you upgrade to a larger/better package. Yes that raises taxes a bit, but that's not hidden. Like sales tax, if the price tag is higher, you pay more in taxes - it's percentage based. Of course if you change mid billing cycle the next bill is a bit weird because it's pro rated for the two plans.

Fritz,  if you’re experiencing slow speeds or close to no connection this is a
high concern. Your issue could be related to install, internal equipment
issues, or possibly your personal settings. Either way, we would like to review
your account and take a closer look at it. Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information.
We look forward to assisting you.

I also live in the middle of the woods, and thankfully am out of contract. Both Verizon and ATT will come out and install a "cantenna" at your home, for free, so that you can get reliable 4G LTE service which is faster than exede. If you only use the data on  mobile devices, ATT has unlimited data packages and Verizon has offers on the order of 18 GB a month for $100. Verizon has the best customer service on earth - not just among telcos, but for any company I've dealt with.
