Obviously 12 gigs a month is not enough. Service is too high for no more than you receive. Thinking of changing back to HN.

Hi Randy. Amazon is likely similar to Netflix, using anywhere from .5 GB/hour all the way up to 6 or 7 GB/hour for Ultra HD. You should be able to adjust the settings to stream at medium or lower quality to save on data but, yes, video eats up data pretty quickly. Here's an article I found with some interesting info.

A typical 2 hr  movie in HD uses about 4 GB. Switching to lower resolutions, if possible, will use much less, under 1 GB in SD, and at lower resolutions, much less.

If the Liberty Plan is available in your area, it is a great option, you have basically unlimited data, at speeds in the 1 to 5 Mbps after you use up your priority data. I am very happy with the Liberty 10 plan I have.
