It is as I stated before: Microsoft has always favored its own interests and agenda over the needs of and its required commitment to its customers.

Actually, what I posted here has quite a bit to do with Exede, since Microsoft Windows is one of the larger data burning culprits for Exede customers.

With that logic anything that uses large amounts of data could be posted here.

On Intel's Kaby Lake and AMD's Ryzen chips, Microsoft is intentionally blocking updates on Windows 7 and 8.1. What this means to those of us in the boonies is, we have three options.
1. Quit using Microsoft products altogether (which is easier said than done for most people)
2. Continue to use outdated hardware forever (at least until Win7 and 8.1 are no longer supported)
3. Allow Microsoft to treat us like data caps don't exist, and just deal with paying for bandwidth Windows wastes before we can even use it
This is basically GWX all over again, just less aggressive. Microsoft is giving us all the finger and saying "you'll use what we want, when we want, on whatever hardware we say you can"

Again, nobody appointed you to be the Exede forum police, no matter what the title of the forum is.

Posts about anything that uses large amounts of data are regularly posted here, since posts of those kinds are part of discussing how to make the most out of your data, which is a very relevant topic on this forum.
