I'm seeing more activity from companies rolling out fixed wireless to cover rural areas. It ll be interesting to see the competition between low orbit satellite and fixed wireless. I wonder how many towers it takes to cover the same area as one of these low orbit satelllites.

I haven't been keeping up with OneWeb's progress, I guess because SpaceX is in the news so much. Didn't realize they were this far along and had actually begun launching satellites.

I'm waiting for satellites from OneWeb, Starlink and all the other LEO providers to start banging into each other.  :) :) :)

They're all going to be in different orbits and supposedly have fail safes so collisions don't occur. We'll see.

Except that with thousands of satellites going up in the next few years a collision could very well happen.
