Notice you can't just log on here and get your total data used for the previous month. It's on purpose, you have to call and wait on hold to find out, then they say they only go back to the 15th? Get it together Exede! Data is your damn product! My cell phone company has more useful information on their site, you are a satellite comunication compnay! God's sake, what BS!

Fred - Yes, it would be nice to see archived data usage.  For now, I use Satellite Restriction Tracker to maintain a record of my data usage, back to the day I had Exede installed.  It is free if you only log data usage while your computer is on, and a small fee if you want to log data usage 24/7 when your computer might be off.   Note that this is not an independent measurement system.  It is just logging Exede's current data usage numbers.  http://realityripple.com/Software/Applications/Satellite_Restriction_Tracker/

I also use a tablet, can it be installed on both?

Only if the tablet is running Windows.  But, for $15/yr your usage will be logged every 15 minutes whether your computer or tablet is on or not.

Last night I called in to add another 5GB and the customer service rep. was very helpful and the conversation got into specific types of usage from past bill to date. He actually told me what percentages of my usage were for specific activities, said he was looking at a pie graph? I said, email that to me? After checking with the supervisor he said he was not allowed to send me that information! WTF? I immediately made him escalate that to management, stating that it is on purpose to keep me in the dark about my actual data usage!

Come on people, start raising hell every time you contact Exede and demand we have real time specific data access and archiving so we can effectively manage our accounts!

Hey FJS, we strive to keep customers up to date with their usage and answer any questions that pop up. As far as sending you the pie chart showing your data, we simply do not have the ability to do so. We are always working to improve our meter and this would be a good suggestion. Thank you for posting your feedback.
