Monthly bill

When I signed up for your service, your customer service quoted me $69 per month, not the $100 I'm being charged, I have the notes that we went over when I first inquired can about this service. I would have never agreed to $100 per month, I cannot afford that. With me being a Direct TV customer, o was told there is a monthly discount, plus the first 12 months were at a discounted price, making my bill $69 per month. Please let me know what is going on. Send an email to one of the Exede moderators (ViaSat employees) at exedelistens@viasat.com - they will be able to clarify and charges.

Off hand, I'm guessing you weren't informed about the monthly $10 equipment lease fee, and if your first bill there may be some prorated charges based on your billing cycle (also don't forget the tax man - ViaSat should really be advertising the out the door price).

If you ordered through DirecTV you may need to contact them (DirecTV should also be advertising the out the door price also - especially for their products).

Look at the detail of the bill. Possibly an equipment lease fee, taxes and other government fees on there.

The $10 bundling discount normally doesn't start until the second month then you will get $10 of through the 13th month. Here if you got the $79 plan, it will cost you $97 after lease fee and taxes. Of course this will be different according to the local tax rate.

Hello Jill, I do apologize about the inconveniences. I understand how frustrating it can be to have been told a different price then what your actual invoice may be showing. Everyone is correct on this post in regards to additional charges such as taxes, equipment lease fee, etc. I would be glad to review your invoice just to make sure you’re not being charged incorrectly and get any matters resolved quickly.
