My handicapped nephew, he has no arms, was on the old satellite and tried to upgrade to unlimited plan he was told that only new customer could upgrade to the newer plans so he is stuck with an internet plan too slow to do any streaming. This is how you treat existing customers?

Hi David,

Please send us an email at viasatlistens@viasat.com with your son's account information and the account password (to verify authorization to access the account) and we will take a look and see what can be done to assist him.

It’s my nephew not my son. I forwarded him your message.

You can switch to an Unlimited plan. You just have to sign a new 2 year contract.

That's my understanding. If a plan is available to new customers a person should be able to move to it, but a new contract will be required if a new tria installed alone with dish repointing.
