Concerned about data usage

So, I recently changed my ISP from HughesNet to Excede. I am extremely disappointed with what I thought would be a "better" plan for me. This is my situation. Bear in mind, I was a HughesNet customers for years.
I have the 10GB plan which I may add, was the same plan I had with HughesNet. Not once, did I ever go over or come close to using my 10GB in a months time. Suddenly, I was within data restrictions within 24 hours from when my next bill was due for Exede. I use my meter settings to make it easier to monitor. Something that I have always done. However, it is useless to me at this time when I am one day into my new billing cycle and my usage meter is telling me that I have already used 3% of my 10GB! Impossible and frustrating!

Cindy, if you were on the old Hughesnet system, switching to Exede will use more data for similar viewing habits. With the higher speeds, the websites send you their info in much higher definition, lots more data is consumed.
