Can't connect to wifi

We are having an issue with connecting to Wi-Fi with our computer and with the iphone. Then when it is connected, it is slower than dialup! This has been going on a long long time....months and months. Why? We are not getting what we pay for! I would rather use ATTWireless and be able to access the internet whenever I want rather than have to deal with dial up service!

When it comes to wifi connections 9 out of 10 times the problem is within the actual router itself (could be not renewing an IP address, could be offline, ect) If you'd like for us to take a look if rebooting your router doesn't look please call us at 855-463-9333 or via email at exedelistens@viasat.com

As Brad said, that is usually your router, not the modem (the exception would be if you have the new Exede WiFi modem, then you may need to look up the manual in the customer help pages and work on the router part of it.)

If your computer can connect directly with the ethernet cable to the modem, it is not the modem, but the router that is the problem.

This sounds like you are having problems with your wireless router, and may not be with the Exede modem. Send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com explaining your problem. Include your account number and a phone contact. The moderators will be able to do some troubleshooting with the tools they have available to see if your modem is functioning properly.
