I use my email daily and the contacts I have are very important to have every day. I have nothing right now. This is a serious problem today. Paying in excess of $90 a month for internet service you would think that it would take less than a couple of weeks to migrate all my very important information.

This is a known issue tied our migration last night. This is a known issue and our engineers are currently fixing the issue. Once resolved your emails will show. It should be fixed within a few hours.

Steve, I'm sorry but I pay over $90 a month for just a few gigs of bandwidth service, I run out of bandwidth after about 10 days, My email is critical to what I do, I am a graduate student and use the email to communicate with fellow online classmates and my professors. I also am a counselor at a school and utilize the email as a grant writing address, book fair contact and many other uses. I do understand it is a major undertaking and I realize I'm not the only account that is served, my point is that this process was not handled correctly from the first and that it was not explained that there would be a lapse in migrating from one platform to another and even then it was stated that the time lapse would be a couple of weeks, when it turned out to be just a few hours. I noticed several of the comments were just to discontinue service. I don't have that luxury, excede is the only service that is available to me. I don't think excede's commercial about other providers making fun of problems that customers have is funny because I feel that is exactly what is being done in this situation.

How ironic, wildblue/excede posted my bill today. There is never a delay in sending an invoice even though they have over 650,000 subscribers who have multiple accounts.

Thats partly why you don't use an ISP email like Exede's they only offer it as a convenience to us customers. Their main focus it the actual internet service. If you want something more reliable then buy an account with someone like network solutions or use a direct gmail out hotmail or yahoo account.

some convenience, the internet service, as I've said before is only a few gig
s and I use it up in about 10 days, I'm stuck because no other service is available in my area, believe me, I've investigated and will change in a heartbeat if some other service becomes available. In talking with friends and seeing ads, excede is overpriced and not reliable, if it sprinkles or the wind picks up, I lose service. As for using gmail, hotmail or yahoo accounts, I've already explained that I use wildblue for most of my business and it would be a real problem to change all of my contacts.

If your Exede goes out in a sprinkle or when the wind blows, you have a bad install. Ours will go out in a rain, but it has to be a LOT of rain. If ours goes out due to rain, we know we're going to get some serious rain.

As for wind, ours has never went out due to wind, even a couple months ago when it blew the top out of one of our trees.

You need to contact one of the Exede people here about getting your install looked at, there are installers that cut major corners.
