lost connectivity for the 4th time in a month. We have had exede for about a year and a half. no problems till now. A technician will be out here again on Friday. every time its the same thing. they come out and adjust to satellite and it works for about a week. then I call they send a tech out 2 or 3 days later and repeat. this is the last chance or I am finding a different service e

Derek - When you "lose connectivity", what do the modem lights look like?  What does your modem status look like? http://192.168.100.1/?page=modemStatus

OK.  Just wanted to make sure.  Some folks report "disconnected" when it actually is a problem with their PC/router configuration.  Yours sounds like a legit Exede equipment issue.  Wonder how/where your dish is mounted?  Maybe it is a poor mount???  I have pole mount that has never been re-aligned in over nine years, except for the re-pointing to upgrade to Exede.

Hi Derek,
Have you had wet weather over the last month. Check your cable connection. Pull them apart to see if there is any moisture/ condensation.

If so, brighten up the copper lead with some fine sandpaper or the edge of a knife blade. Then slid it in and out to clean the inside connectors. Re-seal them with silicone on the outside of the fitting.

Not sure it's a fix, but maybe?
