The Nest thermostat (which should be similar) should be about 50MB a month. A lot of that is attributed to system updates each month.

I couldn't find the Honeywell's usage exactly but I would imagine it should be similar because it's largely using data for updates and that's minimal compared to like a streaming device or Echo. This is just a area of interest for me being a fan of smart house automation (got some lights programmed and changed the Echo's wake-word to "Computer"....sometimes Star Trek triggers it to answer a question) and just got a smart thermostat but haven' t messed with it much outside of changing the temperature to see how much data it uses or anything.
My router keeps usage statistics on each client. My Honeywell RTH6580WF uses about 9MB a day / 270MB a month.
