I have a surfbeam 2 router linked to my satellite. When I enter 192.168.100.1 into my browser it takes me to the status page of the device. But no ID or password screen. Please, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or how I gain access to the router?

A the top of the Status page you should have various tabs to choose from - Router Settings being one of them.

The Surfbeam 2 is a modem only device (4 blinking lights on front) - not a combination modem/router. All you can do is view the status at that address.

As I recall the Visat WiFi Modem/Router/Voice Adapter (black modem with glowing ring) uses 192.168.1.1:8080 for the router admin while 192.168.100.1 displays modem status.

Documentation for the Viasat Wifi Gateway (white triangular prism) suggests it's at 192.168.100.1
