Looking for extra gigs

I usually never complain in forums, but this has really bothered me. I was told by a representative 3 months ago that my account would receive 5 GB for 6 months since we do not have unlimited service available in our area, and that when i saw that our time was getting close that I could call anytime and get it added... I was thrilled. I called today to get the 5Gb added because our time was getting low and was told that it was only a "holiday promotion" and that it is no longer available. Also the unlimited service is still not available in our area...I think it is time to move on to another company that can deliver on their promises. Really disappointed...and just so you know we actually have two different accounts that we pay for...I will soon be leaving Wildblue/Exede/Viastat....that is if anyone cares!!!

Ask them here and they most likely will help you, It's better to get it at the start of your data turnaround because if they add it towards the end you will lose whatever you don't use. There is no rollover with exede. :( This is my personal opinion from what I have seen.

Good idea, but the representative I spoke with yesterday said it is now not available at all. I still have 4 months of free 5GB service left. I didn't mind that I would not have rollover, I just want what was promised to me. Now I will have slow service until the 11th. If this would have been the only problem, I might not be too bothered by it, but there has been more problems. Thank you...maybe someone from their company will see this and respond. I am no longer under contract, and we pay for two accounts...maybe it is time to shop for another service.

Jerilyn, just send an email to the moderators here at exedelistens@viasat.com and tell them about your wanting more of your free gigs. They will help you out.  Include your account number or phone number in the email since they can't see that from your profile on this board.

Thank you so much for coming through. My opinion of the company has changed. I do look forward to unlimited service in our area that I hope will come soon (I know you have no decision in that, but if they ask...please pass it on). :) Thank you once again!
