First this is a forum not a live chat so it may take up to 24hrs for the mods to reply.

Second, who told you that the liberty plan had a free zone? That's the important thing Exede needs to know so they can correct the information that person is giving out.

The Liberty Plan does not have a free zone because it doesn't cut you off if you use up your "priority" data.  In this case your traffic becomes lower priority so  you will get lower speeds but you should still be able to use the internet and in many cases even still be able to stream videos, play games, etc.  In other plans that have a free zone, if the data is used up you probably won't be able to use the internet at all except during the free zone.  For people that have very heavy downloading requirements, they may prefer a plan with a free zone.  For most people Liberty is a huge change in how satellite internet works as it gives the ability to use the internet without constantly worrying about micro-managing data.

I do agree with Knight Rider however, that the person who is incorrectly marketing the plan needs to be corrected to understand how it really works.

The plan you probably want is the Essential 10 Gb. It has free zone from 5 am est to 8 am est. If you on the exceed web page, the plan calls itself the legacy plan with free hours from12 am est to 8 am est, but I cannot find that plan. Essential 10 is good for me because it is not unusual for me to download 50Gb+ in 1 day. All the plans will slow you down after the "allotted" Gb are used up, and then you will have to wait till the next monthly billing cycle for them to speed back up during "metered hours"
