Exceed keeps making excuses but Liberty pass is another via stat sham, there trying to convince us 20-56k kph speed is acceptable your better off no trying during 6-11 and who's home when it supposedly works.

Yes, its awful. I find myself using my cellular connection to send emails sometimes. Just keep in mind that one day, better internet will be available for those like us and Exede and Hughes will go out of business or have to adapt. It would be nice if the government stepped in to deal with the unfair business practices.. but clearly our government is busy doing "other things".

Our internet is literally worthless, I'm hoping to cancel mine and just deal without service because none is basically the same as having Exede, it is unbelievable what they are doing to their customers.

I called and they are sending a service guy out Monday.  Seems our modem is not getting a signal at all.  Still, we had Verizon home internet installed a few months ago to supplement our Exede during the times when it is so slow it is unusable.  It is super fast but is also expensive.  90/month for 20 Gb.  Just upgraded today for 120/month for 30 Gb.  That will give us 10 Gb of Exede high speed plus Liberty plus 30 Gb high speed verizon for prime-time evening hours when Exede Liberty is useless.

I just noticed it says LibertyPass (morning/afternoon).  I'm with the rest of you - early evening until midnight and speedtest.net says .3 down and .25 up.  Rediculous.  I thought I'd have at least 1.5 mbs all the time after priority data was used (that takes about 2 days with my kids).  9 months in and ready to cancel and just do without.

Here's the fine print listed now:  Liberty Plan customers who exceed their Priority Data limit will receive Liberty Pass for the remainder of their monthly billing period. Liberty Pass speeds are slower than Priority Data speeds and may be extremely slow when the network is busy, which may greatly impair internet usage. Heavier users of Liberty Pass may be slowed to a larger extent than lighter users. (See www.exede.com/documents/master/data-allowance-policy.pdf for complete details)

Me too Bill, what the fine print should say is we will make your modem a paperweight if you are a heavy data user.  I too was told 1.5 would be the minimum speeds we would see, and I also thing no service is better than this.

Ha, bill it figures like most conglomerates there cyo'ing at this point. exede I'm sure your monitoring these posts. There are many other threads like this just improve the speeds to a minimum 1.5 mps. We all know you can do it. is it really worth losing all these good folks but giving useless speeds?

Chris, I've said it many times here, give everyone 1.5mbps speeds and much larger data caps, the 10mbps speeds are COMPLETELY pointless when you have such extreme limitations on data.  I suspect they would have a hard time selling it that way though, because everyone is used to these really high speeds being advertised.  So they will advertise the speeds, fib a bit about the data and performance of the service, then wallah you are locked into a 2 year deal without signing anything, yeah for all!!
