i have been with Excede less than a month. very dissatisfied! according to the data I used )25gb in 1 day! really the cap is a scam I feel ripped off and plan on spreading the word!

I have the same problem but not only that but after I pass the 10Gb I can't even use social media before late 2014 I could what is going on!?

Hello Kimberly, What information do you need from me? I am currently looking at other options that would fit our family better. We are a family of 4 we have 2 teenage daughters I have already terminated Netflix and now I have told them absolutely no utube, pandora, etc... I am asking myself why have internet at all if all we can do is email?

I will need the contact phone number on your account to locate it. These are very common concerns from some of our customers but I can assure you that data conservation is only tricky at first. (: It gets easier as you learn more and more of what really can sneak your data away.

I went back to my cable company, and unplugged my Exede system. I just checked my usage, 4.16 gigs. How did that happen? My contacts number is 515-249-0626. I want to know how much it will cost to cancel my account.

Funny that you should say that, I was without internet for a week due to the dish being faulty and they have a temp one in until a new one replaces it... So that means that I had internet for 2 weeks and went through 50GB!!!! When you find out how to cancel your account please let me know.

In the same boat after one week saw a 12GB used out 20 GB.  Unplugged the modem three days later got a email saying that our 20GB limit is exceeded and we will be throttled down.  I have had it for three months and am considering other options.  Even when I was in my window upload was only .2mbs and download was .44mbs  way below advertised.  Directv said this would be our best option.  I am very dissatisfied with this service.....

Just a caveat for those in this thread who are posting their phone numbers here... don't do it.

Otherwise you'll likely be receiving a call from scammers from around the globe, lurking here, there and everywhere else on the internet. They'll claim to be able to fix your problem and sometimes convincingly. You'd be surprised at how much information can be harvested from the internet with just a little bit of information including your full name.   

When the Exede moderators ask for your information, they specifically request that you only send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com to protect your privacy. An email now might be advisable if nothing more than to get them to remove your posts if unable to edit them yourselves.     
    
Note that the reason the Exede moderators request that information is because this forum/community is hosted by a third-party (GetSatisfaction) and they are unable to determine your Exede account or other information solely from your GetSatisfaction account.

Exede is a scam! There is someone in our area who is now spreading the word, going door to door, sort of extreme but I don't see them being in business for too much longer. Like you said, why have internet if they keep taking all of our data when we are not using it as much as they state we are? Please let me know if they resolved your issue! I was VERY happy with a third party company but didn't like that they didn't offer free time. I still have yet to use the free time and with this third party company, I could do so much more without it barely touching my data. It was wonderful and now I wish I wouldn't have taken it for granted..
