Laughable company

Viasat is worst internet company ever. These speeds at midday are ridiculous especially being on priority data. It’s highway robbery $60 a month for 12gb anyways. The Liberty pass says up to 12 mbps and never is, might as well say it’s up to 50mbps. Ping is always skyrocketing to over 1000.

I decided to email their customer service and because I thought maybe something was wrong. Got replied to by a bot that says the same thing every time- reboot the system. Did that and it still sucks.

Viasat might have decent plans but there on Viasat 2 and are like $200. They’ve been on the same technology since the beginning, viasat 1. I know we viasat 2 but that’s limited.

In some posts some people have decent speeds and parade around calling their service perfect. Not only that their either on a really good beam or paying 200+ for it.

My speeds may be do to conjestion but that’s stupid. You’ve used that same excuse for 10 years. I’d think by now if you cared we’d have some new tech. Not only that really not even conjestion, you slow others down so the people with priority have faster speeds. So why lie?

All they do is scam us because they know we have no other internet options. If i did I’d be outta here. Greedy as hell.

Can't you get Hughesnet? That might be a better option for you.

Definitely look at prepaid unlimited wireless internet then if you have not been satisfied with satellite intermet.

It might meet your needs better.

Laughing all the way to the bank. They just want new subscribers to help their financials and stock price. They know for a fact those subscribers won’t be happy. Get them signed up! We know that causes congestion but we will deal with the fall out and cancellations later! Right now we just need new activations on the books. It’s a short game.

I agree with you somewhat.  It is a short game.  The short game is new subs and getting existing subs to "upgrade" to a higher paying plan, such as one on Viasat-2.  Hence, plan modifications that slow certain plans down.

You are correct this only goes so far.  At some point it does catch up with a company.
