For the past two days, the Late Night Free Zone has not kicked in for our account. I have checked numerous times between 12:00am until 1:30am and still no change. I even rebooted the modem but nothing. This is not the first time this has happened and frankly, I am about to cancel the service and go to another provider. Exede for us once was a great service but for the past few months, it has turned into a pathetic excuse for an internet service.

If basing that on an apparent lack of speed, many are experiencing lower speeds based on increased holiday period traffic on beams at or near capacity.

If  based on a lack or partial lack of free data usage during the LNFZ, your best bet would be to contact an Exede moderator here by means of

Hello Rob, what is leading you to believe you FZ is not kicking in correctly? If you have these same results tonight, please give us a call asap at 866-945-3258. Our diagnostics systems are set up differently during these hours so that any problems that may arise can be addressed.

rob, me and my boyfriend were to the point that you are at. we really wanted to change internet service providers because we found out our modem was not resetting. well long story short about five days ago i finally found out why. and now our late night free zone is amazing. we download movies off on demand and i couldnt figure out why our data was all used up again. and we only get 10gb a month so not to much. but anyways during the late night free zone when we thought it was not counting as free we would download a movie or two as many as we could fit in the five hour period. or when we remembered . but it was so slow to download one hour long show it would take about an hour on a good night so anyways finally found out this is what u do and hope this works for you. at exactly ten or to be safe fifteen minutes until midnight if thats your time zone unplug your router not the modem from them but the router for instance we have a cisco but unplug just the power to that which will mean you will not have internet or at least nothing to go through to that box. meaning the modem will not connect with it at that . but your modem will reset then give it till about 10 after midnight and plug it back in and try to download something then. and it should be a whole lot different. we found out everything we downloaded was never free because it never reset. the only way it can reset on its own is if from 11:50 pm - 12:10 am nothing in your house is using the internet nothing at all so the easiest way we found to turn everything off is unplugging the power cord to our internet router . again not your modem the router . good luck
