I think lots of research and planning has contributed to my excellent results. Just to give everyone an idea my performance late night and mornings I get 19 to 25-meg down and 4.5-meg up. During the day I get 7 to 13-megs down and 2.5 to 3-megs up. Latencies average around 700 msec.
I think the key to speed is a good solid dish mount, no obstructions, minimal connections, fresh coax, no tight bends and shortest cable length possible. For those having problems with speed check you modem's status page and make sure you don't have errors. Cable resistance could rise as it ages.
So far this system has been solid as a rock. I've never lost signal in a storm yet. If I have any problems in the future I will post them but right now I very happy.
