keeping my money for service i cancelled

called to canceling my service today 12/16/2018 just payed $80.98 on 12/14/2018 they told me they not going to refund me my money for services not used i was in a contract for 2 years witch is over your internet service sucks called numours times about problems with it not working half the time i put up with this for 2 years because was under contract and now you want to keep my money for a hole month of services that i canceled and not using i faithfully for filled my contract even though i wasnt happy with your service i think its only right that you refund me my money for the month of services im not going to use im a disabled vet and cant afford to pay for something im not using

Send an email to one of the moderators (Viasat employees) here at viasatlistens@viasat.com - include your account and contact information with that email.

Don't post the info here since it's a public forum and other subscribers can do nothing about it to begin with although you'll get plenty of responses coming down on both sides of the issue which won't help you - moderators/employees will respond in private and may be able to help. Good luck.

Old labs is correct. This is not a private message to Viasat nor is it a direct communication to us. Send us an email to viasatlistens@viasat.com or calling us at 855-463-9333 (much faster, especially on weekends) and we'll be able to help you out!

With that said, pending certain situations deemed to be an exception (like if you cancelled right after the bill charged) we do not refund for unused services. Like all subscription services you'll be charged a monthly fee whether the services are used or not.
