Early reports coming in from elsewhere that a new modem update is being rolled out. Version UT_2.2.3.0.13.

Perhaps some relief on the way for nagging problems, perhaps not.

They are typically rolled out in waves spanning days to weeks to months. Keep an eye out for a new version coming to a modem near you at http://192.168.100.1/?page=modemStatus

Generally no detailed information is provided about what has changed and determination of that involves differential diagnosis -  what wasn't working works and sometimes (i.e. rarely) vice versa which is the reason for slow, steady roll out - so everyone's not impacted at once just in case.

I hear you, sometime the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach is best especially for us seniors (speaking only of myself of course) . In my case I've always been among the last to receive these (two months later on the last one as I recall). Don't get too anxious about it, but worth keeping up on just in case something goes bump in the night.

I had to power cycle mine this morning. It was hung up in the network entry loop.

Maybe related, maybe not... the question is whether you received the update.

Not intended to start a panic - just some information to be aware of especially those who are actually experiencing unexplained usage and wonder why now their usage is normal (whatever that means).

Hi Lab,
Mine show's the new version UT_2.2.3.0.13. Not sure when it updated, I have not watched it until you made your post.

No issues one way or the other yet.

EDIT: I just checked an old post (1 week ago) where I posted an image of my stat's and the new version was installed then.

If anyone has any issues with the new update, please let me know so I can take a look. Also, if your modem is in a spinning loop, go ahead and unplug it for a bit and then plug it back in. I saw this worked for a few on WildBlueWorld. (:

Just received it myself about an hour ago (surprising since I'm usually one of the late recipients). Despite some heavy rains that dropped the receive signal down into the 2.5 - 3.0dB range, everything kept churning (while DirecTV didn't) and it's creeping back up to where it should be as the clouds pass.

EDIT: And now creeping back down as the clouds and rain roll back in. Kimberly, why can't you guys fix this climate change I'm experiencing? But nothing out of the ordinary noted. Hopefully, it address the complaints/issues I'm not experiencing.

Haven't got my update. Just checked. That's fine with me. Whatever they want to do. As long as can get online and decent speed I'm a happy camper.
