It seems the old Exede plans are coming back?

It seems that the Exede plans are coming back in to areas along side of Liberty again? Perhaps people learned how bad they were getting it when they gave up 5 hours unlimited ?

In my area that seems only to be to those who were subscribers before Liberty Pass, new customers here can only get a Liberty plan but, it is good that those of us who switched have the option to change back if we wish.

Right now I'm happy with Liberty Pass but, if I start seeing the unusable speeds other beams are getting, I will seriously consider going back to my old plan. I mean I get being slowed as much or more than on Classic IF you go over by more than a Gig every single month but a few hundred Megs over now and then and I wouldn't be happy.

Then again...not so many options for some of us.

Hmm. JEP.  They show for me.  I am surprised you don't see them.

Checked again tonight.  Nope.  Change plan is unavailable.  They do provide a number to call, but I haven't done that.  I would like to browse what the options are. Coincidentally (?), I can't buy more data online either.

I'd call them, something is amiss if you can't buy more data online.

Liberty users haven't been able to purchase more data online for a while now.

I can still buy data online if I want to.  I just checked, wonder why there is such a huge difference between beams.

Maybe it has to do if you have gone into Pass mode? I am not sure.

I am still on Priority data and, I could buy more online, if I wanted to so, it's something amiss with some areas or some accounts.

Yes. It is once you get into Pass mode that I believe you cannot

That makes no sense. Why would anyone want to buy more if they were not in pass mode and needed to restore better speeds?

That is the issue. Once in Pass mode users seem unable to purchase more online. They have to call in. One user that called in was told he had to buy his way out of DAP, in other words pay for the overage already used in the Pass and then add whatever else to that.

I think it is just a bug in the system, but from what I understand you have to call in to get data added once in Pass mode.

I'm currently on the Liberty Pass (on beam 319), and I do currently get the option to buy more data.  Actually, they've added some higher data add-ons it seems, with slight financial discounts.

I could not buy data on Liberty Priority or Liberty Pass, nor could I change plans in either condition.  I'm doing enough outside stuff right now with the good weather than I am not too worried about it.  May investigate this later in the Summer when it is too hot to be outside. :-)

I will report what I see when we hit the Pass portion, probably tomorrow night since our son is coming to stay overnight tomorrow.  :P But then I can see if buy more data is  showing up in our area or not.  My husband and I have decided to move back up to our old place next year and we can't wait, have an outstanding WISP provider up there and they now offer up to 10 mbps plans if we need that much speed.  Right now we carry their 5 mbps plan since we are not up there most of the time.

We have added back some Exede Classic plans in some areas.
