Man Viasat is a huge disappointment. I wouldn't even call this "internet". We need unlimited. They say they care about equal usage and blah but then why can those who can afford it buy more internet? I have to watch a lot of videos for school and I still need more than 25GB so I have to pay for more and what should be a $50 bill ends up being like $160! Let's not forget how unhelpful the tech support is either. They try to fix problems I DON'T HAVE then blame it on my router. Finally, they change their stupid internet viewing whatever dashboard and MAKE me unable to access my old account and go through hoops and loops to make a new account. Can't I do that when I want to? Not the second they demand? If there were more choices for internet around, trust me, via sat would be at the very end of my list.

Can't you save the videos during the LNFZ so you can watch them later?

As for a new account, that isn't unusual when a company creates a new website, which Viasat just did. You can make the new account when you want, you need to do so to view your usage or bill or, manage email accounts but, you can still create the username whenever you like.

As always ANY metered internet service is only good for those that do not have cable or DSL available. It is your responsibility to manage your usage, as it is for each of us. That's why we use flash blockers, turn off autoplay when we can for videos on specific sites and, use download managers to download video, music games, etc.. during the LNFZ.

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your internet services.  At this time, we don't offer unlimited data plans, not because we don't want to, we simply just don't have the capacity at this time.  We are always trying to find new and improved ways to meet our customers needs.

Offering more GBs is for customers who every once in a while need an additional Gb or two to make it through to there next usage reset date.  Although customers have the option to buy more GBs here and there, we can not offer higher data plans to all customers at one time, we just don't have the space yet.

The new MyExede customer portal is an easier website to understand and navigate through.  If you have any problems with accessing the new site please send me an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your contact information and the best time to reach you.  Thanks.
