is there a way I can temporarily freeze my account?

I would like to out my account on hold so I am not charged for 2 months that I do not need it.

You can put your account in vacation mode, but if you have a grandfathered plan you will then lose that plan and only be able to restart with a plan that is still available.

Yes there is a 10 dollar "convenience fee" in addition to the equipment lease fee, very convenient for them! What a rip off!

OK.  I forgot about the lease fee!  The last time I used the vacation mode was when I was on WildBlue and I owned the equipment.

If you are out of contract and dont care about a new 2 year contract, if you can get free installation it would be cheaper to cancel the service and then sign up for it when you need service again!
